Kabbalah the hidden meaning of Holy Scripture
Kabbalah - in Hebrew it means "reception" - is the combination of esoteric and mystical teachings of Judaism. It aims to create a more direct and intimate contact with the divine, made possible through a revelation that follows many paths: from the Holy Scriptures, the Torah, to discover the hidden meaning and depth of the narratives contained in it, to the practices Elevation ecstatic times to approach the divine presence. The Kabbalah, which was in dock in the development of conceptions of messianism and redemption in the history of Jewish religious thought, has left an impressive corpus of literature which, by slightly more than half a century, has been rediscovered and is subject to rigorous critical editions . The purpose of this book is to present a simple and accessiblle the cornerstones of Kabbalistic thought in its historical evolution, highlighting the many interactions with the religious thought, philosophical and European science.
